From Romance to Revelry: Malta Airport Will Connect Travellers To Europe’s Most Iconic Celebrations This Weekend
Malta International Airport is gearing up for a vibrant Valentine’s and Carnival weekend between the 13th and 17th of February, with around 121,000 passengers expected to travel through the airport over the five-day period, as romance and revelry takes over cities across Europe.
Paris remains a timeless favourite for couples seeking a romantic escape, with connections to Orly operating four times weekly, daily flights to Charles de Gaulle and twice-weekly services to Beauvais. Venice Treviso, served daily, offers travellers the opportunity to experience first-hand the magic of the world-renowned Venetian Carnival, famous for its elaborate masks and historic pageantry. Another popular carnival destination connected to Malta via three weekly flights is Cologne, where Germany’s largest street festival promises visitors colourful parades and lively street festivities.
To enhance the guest experience throughout the weekend, Malta International Airport will be rolling out a number of seasonal activations across the terminal and at SkyParks Business Centre. Both travelling and visiting guests can look forward to free treats and activities, as well as a dedicated kids’ club for younger revellers. More information is available here.
